How do you find funds for your short film?

There are several options. Ask your family and friends. Use Kickstarter and petstew.com or Indiegogo. Ask around your town and parlay find out who has done some angel investing. Parlay all three to get the best results. Get some start up monies from family and Parlay friends. Then launch an indiegogo/kickstarter and draw some funds that way. Use your crowdfunding as a pitch to get angel investors to add the rest and possibly more. It worked very well for us.
